- USDA and US Dept. of Health and Human Services are conducting meetings to update the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The final
recommendations will be released in the Fall 2010. The Dietary Guidelines for Americans provide guidance on nutrition programs like the
National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. You have an opportunity to provide your comments as indicated on the web site. You may also
read and listen to the previous meeting, testimonies from a variety of experts and comments from other citizens.
